Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer for our client. This job is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting innovative electronic hardware solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Design mixed-signal circuits using high-speed data converters, RFIC, and serial interfaces
  • Partner with team members to improve, edit, and maintain existing FPGA/SOC designs
  • Perform component selection, schematic capture, and layout for designs across a range of complexity
  • Own the fabrication and assembly handoffs with manufacturing partners for prototyping
  • Generate and maintain technical data, drawings, and engineering orders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, software, project management, sales, etc.) to develop product requirements, as well as through the project lifecycle
  • Conduct simulations, modeling, and testing to validate hardware performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and applicable regulations
  • Maintain component library and design standards
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • Prior professional hardware design experience
  • Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing principles and embedded software
  • Experience with system integration and proof of concept prototype design
  • Hands-on lab experience
  • Experience using Altium Designer
  • Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to successfully plan, execute, and deliver technical projects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability to work onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
