Job description

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow's HAM Pro module, strong knowledge of CMDB, and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and effective technical solutions that drive operational efficiency and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions.
  • Architect and oversee the integration between ServiceNow HAM, CMDB, and other enterprise systems to ensure data integrity and a unified view of all hardware assets.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform, providing technical guidance, best practices, and innovative solutions to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards, governance frameworks, and reconciliation processes for hardware assets within the CMDB.
  • Translate complex business requirements from various departments (IT, Finance, Procurement) into detailed technical designs and specifications.
  • Drive the automation of hardware asset lifecycle processes, from procurement and deployment to disposal and refresh.
  • Conduct technical design reviews and provide mentorship to developers, ensuring solutions are maintainable, extensible, and aligned with platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivered solution meets business needs and is aligned with the overall IT strategy.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in architecting, developing, and delivering ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions.
  • Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including a deep understanding of the CMDB data model and its integration with asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of the hardware asset lifecycle and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, and other integration methods (REST/SOAP).
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present technical solution designs and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) is highly preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
