Job description

CyberLinx Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Asset & Configuration Manager (Tier 2–3) to oversee the lifecycle, tracking, and governance of IT assets and configuration items. This role ensures accurate asset management, supports change management, and enables IT teams to maintain a reliable, compliant, and optimized IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralized IT asset inventory, including hardware, software, cloud subscriptions, and licenses
  • Track and manage IT assets across their lifecycle: procurement, deployment, usage, maintenance, and retirement
  • Maintain an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure it aligns with ITIL practices
  • Collaborate with IT operations, security, and procurement teams to enforce asset policies and compliance
  • Support software license management, audits, and optimization of software usage
  • Facilitate configuration and change management processes to ensure accurate system and network documentation
  • Provide reporting and metrics on asset utilization, costs, and lifecycle trends
  • Investigate discrepancies and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Serve as Tier 2–3 escalation for asset and configuration-related issues
