Description:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) โ€“ Data Entry is responsible for supporting warehouse and logistics functions by assisting with documentation, shipment tracking, equipment monitoring, and inventory control. This entry-level role is designed for individuals interested in learning about warehouse and supply chain processes. Candidate will gain hands-on experience in core logistics functions and contribute to the smooth flow of daily operations. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time based on operational needs. The employee's supervisor may assign additional tasks or modify job duties as necessary to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping & Receiving Support: Assist with the verification of packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery notes. Support outbound shipment processes, including organization of outbound shipments and confirmation of all documentation being completed before dispatch. Track inbound and outbound shipments using internal systems and communicate updates to team, management, as well as, clients.
  • Inventory & Yard Control: Perform physical inventory checks of warehouse supplies, containers, and trailers. Monitor and record trailer/container movements in the yard and confirm container and trailer data matches system records. Update inventory logs and container tracking spreadsheets using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • System & Data Documentation: Input accurate shipment data into WMS and YMS platforms. Prepare internal reports using Excel or Google Sheets to document daily operations and status updates. Maintain organized records of shipment documentation, inventory logs, and equipment status reports.
  • Equipment Monitoring & Reporting: Assist in performing daily checks on warehouse and yard equipment/supplies. Support the documentation of maintenance schedules, inspection logs, and service requests. Coordinate with the operations team to report equipment issues or supply needs.
  • General Operational Support: Support the logistics team with daily workflow tasks such as paperwork preparation, communication with warehouse staff, and monitoring of equipment or trailer location. Assist in communicating shipment updates or changes with internal team and clients. Complete tasks as assigned based on the volume of work and departmental priorities.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain focus and professionalism during the entire shift. Follow company policies regarding communication, confidentiality, and workplace behavior. Uphold accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service, data entry, logistics, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Comfortable working in both warehouse and yard settings, including light physical activity.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, Google Sheet, Google Drive, etc. (familiarity with WMS/YMS systems is a plus)
  • Fluency in Korean preferred

Tasks and responsibilities may be adjusted based on business needs. Work Environment: This position requires on-site presence during scheduled hours (Remote work is not applicable). Role involves office work and warehouse activity, including physical movement involving ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods at times. Frequent interaction with warehouse staff, drivers, and management. Must be able to work assigned shift and occasional overtime as needed. The company will provide training to support the employee's development.
