Position: Pastry Cook

The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality pastry and dessert items while contributing to a welcoming and efficient kitchen environment. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide genuine, high-quality hospitality in a timely manner

  • Ensure guests feel welcome, valued, and cared for

  • Prepare a variety of pastry and food items, including desserts, appetizers, side dishes, and select entre components

  • Assume full responsibility for the quality and consistency of all products served

  • Follow standard portion sizes, recipes, cooking methods, and quality standards

  • Maintain adequate stock levels at assigned stations to ensure smooth service

  • Keep workstations clean and sanitary, including tables, ovens, fryers, ranges, and refrigeration equipment

  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish standards

  • Handle, store, label, and rotate products according to food safety guidelines

  • Assist with food preparation during off-peak periods as needed

  • Properly close kitchen stations and complete all closing checklists

  • Support team members in kitchen closing procedures

  • Adhere to all company safety, sanitation, and health policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Passion for food and delivering an exceptional dining experience

  • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude

  • Previous experience in kitchen preparation and/or cooking preferred

  • Ability to communicate clearly with managers and team members

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20+ pounds

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
