Algolia

Job description

Algolia is seeking a strategic, analytical, proactive and operationally strong Revenue Strategy & Planning Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. This role will help drive predictable revenue growth by strengthening our forecasting discipline, improving pipeline visibility, and delivering actionable insights that enable Revenue leadership to make confident, data-driven decisions.

This role will own and continuously improve core components of Algolia's revenue operating rhythm, including forecasting, pipeline health, revenue performance reporting, and planning support. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building scalable models and processes, partnering with Revenue leaders on business performance, and translating data into clear recommendations for executive audiences.

In addition to owning forecasting as a specialization, this person will support annual and quarterly planning cycles, executive business reviews, revenue / sales All Hands, Pipeline Council, and strategic initiatives that improve go-to-market execution.

About You

You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially curious. You enjoy turning complex GTM data into clear insights, practical recommendations, and scalable processes. You are comfortable working closely with Revenue leaders, asking thoughtful questions, and bringing structure to ambiguous business problems. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you take pride in building trusted partnerships across teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and bring a collaborative, low-ego approach to solving problems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with revenue leadership to support operationalizing GTM priorities through clear analysis, scalable processes, and disciplined execution.
  • Own and continuously improve Algolia's revenue forecasting framework, including process, governance, methodology, and the weekly/quarterly cadence. Ensuring timely, accurate visibility into bookings, pipeline, GTM performance, and risk, and driving forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene in partnership with Sales, RevOps, Finance, and GTM leadership.
  • Build and maintain forecasting, pipeline, and performance models that deliver actionable insights on pipeline health, coverage, conversion, yield, attainment, productivity, and gap-to-plan, translating analysis into clear recommendations and operational actions for Revenue leadership.
  • Support territory strategy, planning cycles, and market-opportunity analysis including TAM, segmentation, account prioritization, coverage decisions, capacity planning inputs, and quota/planning assumptions, to align sales resources with market opportunity.
  • Support GTM governance through Salesforce case management for territory disputes, Rules of Engagement questions, and related sales operating model issues; ensure consistent resolution, clear documentation, and feedback loops to improve process clarity and reduce recurring friction.
  • Partner with Algolia's emerging GTM AI Ops & Automation function to bring greater discipline, predictability, and intelligence into our forecasting process, a zero-to-one opportunity to help define how AI enhances our revenue operating rhythm and surfaces new sales-process opportunities.
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting and materials for business reviews, Revenue leadership meetings, Revenue All Hands, and other core operating rhythm forums (e.g. Pipeline Council).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Data teams to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, operating cadences, and reporting infrastructure to increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, FP&A, Business Operations, or a related analytical role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Ability to work Eastern Time (ET) hours.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS GTM metrics, including bookings, ARR, pipeline, coverage, conversion, attainment, productivity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Experience supporting revenue forecasting, pipeline management, business reviews, or revenue planning processes.
  • Advanced revenue modeling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Salesforce proficiency required; experience with forecasting processes and tools, including Gong Forecast, Clari or similar platforms, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to build concise narratives, surface risks, and influence decision-making with data.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across Sales, Finance, RevOps, and other GTM teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong business judgment, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Thoughtspot, Hex, Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • SQL or data warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CPQ, SKU-level reporting, or product-level revenue analysis.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-segment revenue organizations.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and behaviours expected of this role. The company reserves the right to amend or delete with or without notice in line with change in business needs.
