    Job Details
  • Provides post anesthesia nursing care to the patient in the immediate post anesthesia period (phase I) and transitioning them to phase II level of care, the inpatient care setting, or to an intensive care setting for continued care.
  • Responsible for safe transition from a totally anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions.
  • Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment, which must be passed to work in the Emergency Department.
  • On call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.
  • Call approximately 1-2 days per weekday depending on weekend on-call.
  • Weekend call rotation is typically every 4th or 5th weekend.
  • Previous EPIC experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC acceptable).
  • PALS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Primary source verification of professional license required within 30 days of start; for RNs use BON & NURSYS.
  • Must have completed GRH Education Verification through 3rd party.
  • GRH Drug Screen within 30 days of start (9 panel).
  • GRH Skills Checklist completed within 12 months.
  • Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgement required.
  • COVID-19 vaccine or declination accepted.
  • MMR vaccination or positive titer required; booster or declination accepted if low or equivocal.
  • Fit Test completed prior to start with acceptable masks.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or positive titer required; booster or declination accepted if low or equivocal.
  • TB test proof of negative test within past year required; if history of positive test, additional documentation required.
  • Health Statement from physician within last 12 months required.
  • Current Driver's License/State ID required, must not expire during assignment.
  • GRH Background Check within 30 days of start including SS trace and county search for last 7 years.
  • GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse state requirement.
  • GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start.
  • Two professional references required, one must be from supervisor.
  • GRH Resume or Profile required.
  • GRH I9 Attestation required.
  • GRH Color Vision test required.
  • GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet required.
  • GRH NSO check within 30 days of start.
  • GRH OFAC check within 30 days of start.
  • GRH Evergreen Link acknowledgment must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

  • Epic Registration Acknowledgement Form must be signed and uploaded after registration.
