Position Summary:
This is a direct patient-service position as a front-line reception, patient registration and appointment scheduler. Primary responsibilities include a strong customer focus while completing reception duties, patient registration for provider and consultant appointments, telephone interactions, MyChart and in-person appointment scheduling, and will complete general office clerical tasks.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Medical terminology coursework, with medical secretarial/administrative degree.
  • Previous medical office experience preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet-based programs, and ability to operate a variety of office equipment is required. Strong working knowledge of Epic EMR preferred.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Interacts with others using tact and professionalism. Uses proper phone etiquette.
  • Maintains confidence and discretion while handling sensitive information.
  • Possess initiative and good judgment. Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Supports GRH mission, quality improvement goals, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range:
$20.30 - $26.47
