Job Purpose
As a Motion Graphics Designer, you must have deep knowledge and passion for creating animated text and graphics that support our products at a high standard. You will work closely with the brand design and video teams to ensure animations match design intentions and product specifications. Your primary purpose is to support the Brand Video Team on all projects, ranging from concept creation and ideation all the way through to delivering production-ready design solutions. You will work on a mix of still, digital, physical and animated graphics which constantly push the brand to new horizons.
This position includes creating animations for concept presentations to executives and potential customers. Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with a fast-paced and multi-talented team. The ideal candidate is highly productive and has a team-centered spirit and a positive attitude.
This position is full-time in-office. Candidates must reside within Dallas TX or have a reasonable driving commute to Justin, TX and/or be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities (80s of the Position)
  • Work on different projects and media using the latest software to develop innovative graphic designs that meet the company's business goals
  • Obtain input from managers and ensure that the designs meet organizational standards
  • Work independently and collaborate with the design team as and when required.
  • Schedule projects based on priority to balance the workload, which might include three or more simultaneous projects
  • Study existing visuals, identify flaws, and create solutions to improve design capabilities.
  • Revamp brand standards and guidelines for physical and digital implementations
  • Use Cinema 4D or similar for animation, lighting, and shading

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of production experience in Graphic Design, Visual Effects or Motion Graphics industry, in-house or at agency
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or relevant discipline
  • Exceptional, innovative design skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Time-management skills for meeting deadlines
  • Software experience
    • Cinema 4D or similar
    • Adobe After Effects / Premier
    • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma

Preferred Experience
  • Additional experience with animated tech packs is a bonus
  • Use of ai tools such as Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, Firefly

Travel Requirements
  • Limited Travel might be required for company events
