About EarthDaily Federal

EarthDaily Federal builds advanced geospatial analytics solutions powering mission-critical decisions across defense, environmental monitoring, and commercial earth observation. Leveraging cloud-native architectures and remote sensing expertise, our platforms deliver real-time actionable insights from the Earths dynamic surface.

As a remote-first company, we prioritize impact over location, fostering a collaborative environment where solving complex data challenges supports global security and sustainability missions.

The Opportunity

EarthDaily Federal is hiring a Bid & Proposal Manager to own the proposal lifecycle for our federal pursuits across DoD, IC, and civil agencies. You will run captures from gate review through submission, lead color teams, and produce winning narratives that connect our geospatial capabilities to customer mission needs.

This is a hands-on role inside a small, fast-moving federal team. You will write, edit, manage compliance, and coordinate technical contributors. You will also help build the proposal function itself: templates, past performance library, pricing inputs, and the rhythm that turns opportunities into awards.

What Youll Do

  • Lead end-to-end proposal development for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, OTAs, SBIRs, and BAAs across DoD, IC, and civil customers.
  • Run capture and color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold, White Glove) using Shipley or APMP-aligned methodology.
  • Own compliance matrices, proposal schedules, kickoff meetings, and final submission packages.
  • Write and edit executive summaries, technical volumes, management approaches, and past performance narratives.
  • Coordinate technical writers, solution architects, pricing, and contracts to produce a single, coherent submission.
  • Build and maintain the proposal infrastructure: reusable content library, graphics library, past performance database, and templates.
  • Partner with BD and capture leads to qualify opportunities and shape solutions before solicitation release.
  • Track win/loss outcomes and feed lessons learned back into the pursuit process.

What Youll Bring

  • 7+ years of federal proposal management experience, with demonstrated wins on DoD and/or IC pursuits.
  • Track record at a small or mid-sized company where you ran proposals end-to-end without a large proposal shop behind you.
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition vehicles (GSA, SEWP, OASIS, GWACs, OTAs).
  • Shipley, APMP, or equivalent capture and proposal training; certification preferred.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate engineering input into customer-facing prose.
  • Comfortable running color teams, managing remote contributors, and holding the line on schedule.
  • Active Secret clearance required; willingness and eligibility for TS/SCI upgrade.
  • Citizenship required due to federal contract eligibility.

Why Join EarthDaily Federal

  • Work on mission-critical geospatial intelligence systems impacting national security.
  • Small, capable team with direct line of sight from your work to customer outcomes.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and meaningful equity in a growing federal business.
  • Real ownership of pipeline, accounts, and outcomes without the layers of a large prime.
