Vantor is currently seeking a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in support of classified government contracts.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement government security requirements in support of classified and commercial contracts
  • Engage with the Cognizant Security Authority and the Government Contracting Authority (GCA) to ensure National Security Information is protected in accordance with policy and expectations
  • Develop and provide oversight for all aspects of program security for collateral and SCI programs
  • Support Vantor's overall program security posture to ensure compliance with corporate and government regulations
  • Implement all aspects of a security program to include DD-254s, Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), security processes, security education and awareness program, etc.
  • Conduct audits of all contracts to ensure compliance with all security requirements
  • Safeguard and account for classified materials in accordance with the NISPOM
  • Submit and track SCI access nominations
  • Conduct program indoctrination briefings
  • Process incoming and outgoing classified visit requests
  • Partner with cross-departmental management to coordinate security initiatives in line with the overall business strategy and an emerging perspective focusing on security

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with active Top Secret clearance and be willing and able to obtain SCI accesses and successfully pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
  • Demonstrated knowledge of national security policies, to include (but not limited to): ICDs, NISPOM, Executive Orders, customer specific directives and instructions, Code of Federal Regulations, etc.
  • Experience as an appointed Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), or Facility Security Officer (FSO)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; or three (3) years experience with a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with National Industrial Security System (NISS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, Security information Management System (SIMS) and other security databases.
  • Understanding of the DD-254 process and management

Preferred Requirements:
  • Current/active TS/SCI with CI polygraph

Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
โ€ข The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $76,000.00 - $126,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
