Cresta is on a mission to turn every customer conversation into a competitive advantage. Our unified platform combines both AI and human intelligence to enable 1. automating conversations with AI Agents and 2. transform their contact centers to discover customer insights.

Born from the Stanford AI lab, Cresta's co-founder and chairman is Sebastian Thrun, the genius behind Google X, Waymo, and Udacity. Our leadership includes CEO, Ping Wu, the co-founder of Google Contact Center AI & Vertex AI platform, and co-founder, Tim Shi, an early member of Open AI in 2017. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, Sequoia, and former AT&T CEO John Donovan.ย

Our valued customers include brands like Airbnb, United Airlines, Hilton, Porsche, United Healthcare, Intuit, Cox Communications, and Carmax and we've been recognized by Forbes, Forrestor, and Bain Consulting as one of the top private AI companies in the world.

About the Role:

As an Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager on the AI Agents team, you will create, deploy, and optimize AI Agents that transform our customers' businesses and delight their customers. This customer-facing role blends product thinking, prompt engineering, data-driven insights, and project leadership with Strategic & Fortune 500 companies.

In this role, you'll collaborate with senior Forward-deployed Product Managers and Forward-deployed Engineers (FDEs) to support the build of AI Agent products.ย

What You'll Do:

  • Drive AI Agent deployments for customers across the lifecycle - from pre-sales to post-launch optimization
  • Define AI roadmaps for the customer's executive team by blending both quantitative analysis and qualitative insights; leverage automated conversation discovery tools in addition to traditional data analysis
  • Iterate prompt & context engineering to achieve customer's use case and intended business outcomes
  • Own designing and running evaluations and A/B tests of AI Agents with Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs) using Cresta's agent builder and beta internal tools
  • Improve our playbooks for agent development and customer deployment

Why join as an Associate FDPM at Cresta?ย

  • Differentiated career development:
    • Get hands-on AI product experience building Agentic solutions using a cutting-edge tech stack
    • Access to an accelerated timeline of customer-facing opportunities as an AI thought partner to executives & leadership
  • Rotational opportunities:
    • Launching solutions for mid-market to Fortune 500 companies across different verticals, gaining breadth & depth in industry knowledge and domain expertise
    • Develop multiple functional strengths as a super-generalist: work on projects that give experience across multiple teams, including go-to-market, engineering, product, customer success, and more
  • Investment & mentorship:
    • Mentorship from PMs who have been building GenAI solutions since GPT-2, as well as from Microsoft, TikTok, consulting firms, and start-ups
    • Launching pad for your learning and career, we take that seriously as a company in scoping opportunities

What We're Looking For:

You are a pragmatic, results-oriented problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at turning ambiguity into execution.

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience (e.g., Product Management, Consulting, Implementations, Customer / Sales Engineer, Revenue & Sales Analyst, Investment Banking, Founder)
  • Hands-on work style - curiosity with a bias for action. You deliver with urgency and care
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and learning quickly in a dynamic startup environment
  • Willingness to travel

Bonus Points:

  • Previous exposure via clients or projects to the travel & hospitality, healthcare, insurance, and financial industry domains
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
  • Experience working closely with AI or LLM-first products
  • Technical understanding, systems thinking and exposure to building Agents (not necessarily conversational, personal projects count!)

Perks & Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive and people-first benefits package to support you at work and in life:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with plans to fit you and your family
  • Flexible PTO to take the time you need, when you need it
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents welcoming a new child
