Job description

Worthington Woods Animal Care Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join to our fun, hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

Who are we looking for?
  • Full-time Veterinary Technician with at least two years of experience in a clinical setting, with an active RVT license in Ohio
  • A good human who is kind and knows how to play well with pets and people
  • Strong communicator with a desire to foster lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and other WWACC team members
  • Dedicated professional who takes pride in their work and seeks to provide a memorable client experience with each appointment
  • Willingness to continually learn, grow, and improve
  • A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure

What does this role entail?
  • Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
  • Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. This position also requires rotating Saturdays and one Sunday per month.
