WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Senior Pricing Manager position is responsible for pricing estimates and documents related to the RFP process for the Event Technology and Registration Team with support for Account Management, Event Management, Creative, and Production services for client projects, following Delivery Operations team processes, and being an active and engaged member on the Delivery Operations team.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in event registration, event management, or sales operations for corporate events
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is strongly preferred
  • High attention to detail and operate well in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using historical and industry knowledge, provides competitive pricing estimates for all Event Technology and Registration team proposals in a timely manner
  • Works closely with the Business Development, Account Management, and Event Technology and Registration leadership teams to produce clearly defined bids
  • May interact with clients on QA calls to gather pricing details and event billing questions as needed
  • Provides estimates using provided templates, ensuring pricing accuracy
  • Works with Business Analytics to review event hours analysis, ensuring event profitability is maintained
  • Participates in team meetings
  • Identifies possible challenges and escalate as necessary, to bring about quick resolution
  • Fundamental understanding of agency business models
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of client financial management, including revenue, expenses, specialized reporting as it relates to pricing
  • May consult on and manage tracking for group COGs
  • May assist with project setup in PSA (time tracking and resourcing software)
  • Able to assist with high-level projects as needed
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of Opus operating procedures
  • Collaborates with client financial team to ensure pricing aligns with client budgets
  • Successfully self-manage work/life balance
  • Takes initiative, seeking new and better ways for the team to work
  • Travel Requirements: less than 5% annually, could be domestic and international

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.  Ability to create, monitor, and understand budgets, debits, credits, and reconciliation.
