As a Senior SEM Specialist, you will own the strategy, execution, optimization, and performance of C Spire's search engine marketing programs across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. You will drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through disciplined campaign management, audience targeting, media investment optimization, testing, and data-driven decision making. This role combines deep platform expertise, analytical rigor, and performance marketing experience to maximize return on advertising investment across both B2C and B2B customer segments.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

Develop, execute, and optimize SEM campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and remarketing initiatives.

Manage campaign architecture, audience strategies, bidding methodologies, budgets, and media investments to maximize acquisition, lead generation, and revenue growth.

Own shopping feed quality, catalog optimization, and campaign performance across product-based advertising initiatives.

Continuously optimize campaigns through testing, audience refinement, bid management, keyword analysis, and performance measurement.

Monitor and manage multi-million-dollar advertising budgets while maintaining accountability for efficiency, customer acquisition, and return on investment.

Partner with Analytics, Data Science, Creative, UX, Web, and Marketing teams to improve campaign effectiveness, measurement, attribution, and conversion performance.

Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations that improve acquisition, lead quality, and overall marketing effectiveness.

Evaluate new advertising capabilities, platform enhancements, and emerging opportunities within Google and Microsoft ecosystems.

Serve as the internal subject matter expert for search engine marketing and paid search best practices.

Maintain operational excellence through campaign QA, reporting, documentation, tracking validation, and platform administration.

5-10 years of hands-on SEM experience managing performance marketing campaigns within Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.

Proven experience managing and optimizing large-scale digital advertising budgets.

Deep expertise across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Microsoft Advertising.

Experience managing product feeds, audience targeting strategies, attribution models, conversion tracking, and performance optimization initiatives.

Strong understanding of Smart Bidding, first-party data activation, testing methodologies, and advanced campaign measurement.

Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and digital advertising reporting platforms.

Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising certifications.
