Leidos' Defense Systems / Manufacturing is seeking a talented and qualified Environmental Test Program Integrator to join our Defense team in Huntsville, AL supporting the Common Hypersonic Glide Body (CHGB) Program. This role will oversee the flow of Environmental Testing performed within the Environmental Component Lab. This position will also support the integration and testing of complex Avionics and Navigation/Guidance Systems, ensuring hardware and integrated systems performed as designed.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Working with Leads to define daily priorities to support Production
  • Allocating, maintaining, and managing required resources
  • Developing and implementing a communication plan for daily and weekly status updates
  • Communicating with Hypersonics Team Leadership on Lab status, to include, but not limited to:
    • Program Integrator
    • Master Scheduler
    • Engineering
    • Program Management
    • Supplier Program Management
  • Establishing and managing testing schedules and monitoring performance i.e. (on time starts/completions, throughput, utilization, capacity)
  • Ability to Forecast and provide feedback to stakeholders (Part, Tester, Calibration, etc. bottlenecks)
  • Support risk management activities including identification, mitigation planning, and tracking of programmatic and technical risks.
  • Provide labor and material estimates for new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Control Account Managers (CAMs), IPT Leads, and functional managers to maintain alignment between technical execution and program objectives.
  • Defining, tracking, and managing metrics.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to support resolution of Non-Conformances.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Program Management, and Program Management to meet our technical, schedule, and cost objectives.

Basic Qualifications.

  • A BA degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Background working in Manufacturing and/or Test Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and performance in dynamic environments
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills

Preferred Qualifications. The following skills/abilities are desired:

  • Experience working with Thermal, Pressure, Acceleration, and Vibration test equipment.
  • Experience in a MIL-STD-810 Test Environment

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would have experience in electronics/avionics/environmental testing and have a current DoD Secret clearance.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
