Job description

At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what's next.
Within the broader UCAN regional organization, we're building out a new team, Market Planning & Operations (MP&O), which will help steward and support our Ads go-to-market strategy. You will support the commercial business in the UCAN region, inclusive of Sales & Account Management, with a specialization in Media Solutions & Planning.
In this role, you will build a robust programmatic-first media packaging strategy for the UCAN Ad Sales team that combines the power of Netflix's IP with technical capabilities and audience data into scalable, high-impact solutions for advertisers and agencies.
You will leverage product, marketing, pricing, and inventory expertise to deliver opportunities to sales, ensuring our regional GTM motion scales in a data-driven, repeatable, and designed manner that maximizes both client outcomes and Netflix's commercial growth.
In tandem, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow quickly in this space, working closely with global, cross-functional teams across F&S, Market Activation, Brand Partnerships, Consumer Products, Product Marketing & Content to help build a cohesive understanding and unified approach to advertising at Netflix. This role will report to our Senior Manager, Pricing Solutions & Yield, and will be based in our New York or Los Angeles office.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Translate the UCAN GTM strategy into scaled media packages and offerings
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the US & Canada media marketplace to ensure Netflix solutions remain differentiated and market-leading
  • Focus on the "last mile of delivery" with sales through clear process and repeatable frameworks
  • Leverage seasonality and market dynamics to launch programmatic offerings that prioritize audience-based buying and utilizing 1P data
  • Develop always-on media strategies for Private Marketplace (PMP) deals for faster optimization and consistent brand awareness
  • Commercialize brand partnership and consumer product opportunities with programmatic capabilities to leverage the full power of Netflix tech and entertainment
  • Provide ad hoc guidance and ideation to sales supporting commercial executions
  • Create quantitative models necessary for evaluation and implementation of new packaging
  • Inform go-to-market packaging requirements for new product launches
  • Aggregate internal & marketplace feedback to develop seasonal promotions and packages
  • Partner with Product and Insights teams to translate complex audience data (e.g., LiveRamp, DSP-specific segments) into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Develop automated solutions using business systems to create operational efficiencies
  • Partner with pricing & yield managers to ensure media plans & packages drive strategic behavior and build to encourage larger enterprise deals
  • Collaborate with regional XFN teams to aggregate market-level opportunities and drive global partnership deals

What We're Looking For:
  • 8+ years of experience in planning, packaging, operations and pricing strategies for large enterprise sales for CTV or streaming platforms
  • 6+ years of dedicated experience in media, technology, or advertising roles at major entertainment or technology companies
  • Ability to creatively package media and IP related opportunities with a passion for ad sales
  • A deep passion for driving revenue by converting opportunities into wins
  • Deep understanding of programmatic buying, platform capabilities, and auction ecosystem (DSP/SSP dynamics, 1P/3P data strategies)
  • Strong modeling skills and comfort with manipulating large datasets in Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau, and other data visualization tools
  • A strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems
  • Experience with ad tech and ad serving tools such as Google Ad Manager and Freewheel
  • Experience implementing workflows in CRM and OMS systems to support sales motions
  • Motivated, data-driven, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver under tight timeline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred
