You will work with the interdisciplinary Group to develop a plan of care, educate the patient and patient's family in the care of the patient, and make visits to the patients home as frequently as necessary. We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our Roanoke area.
As a RN, you will coordinate, guide and direct the care of patients facing life limiting illness. You will work with the interdisciplinary Group to develop a plan of care, educate the patient and patient's family in the care of the patient, and make visits to the patients home as frequently as necessary. Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with: Hospice or Home Health experience required for homecare.
- Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
- Computer proficiency (EMR experience preferred).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
- Commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.
- Seeking PRN for night shift coverage
- RN availability: at least one shift per pay cycle (every 2 weeks).
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork.
