Job description

Job Summary The Golf Shop Attendant provides daily coordination of guest services, sales and assistance at the Town Course's Golf Shop. This position will require to work: Weekday/Weekends evening hours Position will be open until filled. Responsibilities Provides and monitors course check-in activities, including greeting guests, provides course information and assistance and taking payment for balls, greens and cart fees; schedules future tee times.

Provides quality customer service while checking in customers either in person or by telephone. Answers customer questions and schedules tee times. Merchandises, monitors and organizes stock, providing product information for guests and ordering input to Professional staff.

Directs and assists course starters, rangers, and outside service staff, ensuring smooth course play. Assists Golf Professionals with recommendations regarding course policies and procedures, inclement weather determination, and related activities to ensure course safety and customer satisfaction. Performs all other related duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma or G.E.D. Six months of golf shop or concession experience, or equivalent experience using golf software and/or retail operation skills Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent in-person, telephone and e-mail customer service skills Knowledge of golf's Rules of Play Computer software skills, specifically golfing software programs Ability to problem solve, and communicate solutions clearly to customers and staff
