What You’ll Do Business Development & Sales Growth
  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities across multiple industries
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Generate new revenue through cold calling, networking, referrals, and relationship‑building activities
  • Conduct customer meetings and presentations to understand transportation needs and deliver customized solutions
Account Management
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with customers and key decision-makers
  • Serve as a consultative partner by identifying efficiencies, cost savings, and supply chain solutions
  • Maintain regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities
Solution Selling
  • Develop customized transportation solutions including:
  • Full Truckload (FTL)
  • Collaborate with operations and carrier partners to provide competitive pricing and exceptional service
Pipeline & Performance Management
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue, margin, and customer acquisition goals
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
  • 3‑5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • Experience selling LTL, Truckload, Expedited, Intermodal, or related transportation services
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • Self‑starter mindset with strong accountability and ownership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing network of shipper relationships within the Chicagoland market
