Job description

Sales Operations Analyst

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team in Somerville, MA.

A Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization through sales metrics reporting, performance analytics, and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation. This role is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and distributing sales performance data and reporting materials that help sales representatives and leadership track results, identify trends and make informed business decisions.

A core responsibility of this position is preparing and distributing pre-populated Quarterly Business Review (QBR) slide decks for sales representatives. The Analyst will pull and validate account and performance data, organize the information into presentation-ready materials, and distribute the decks to sales representatives so they can add commentary and present their results. The Analyst will also develop yearly trend analyses on individual sales representative performance to support coaching, planning, and leadership reporting.

This role is focused on sales metrics, reporting, and analytics rather than prospect research or lead generation.

This position is based at our corporate office in Somerville, MA and is not a remote position. We are seeking U.S.-based candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Triumvirate Environmental provides leading organizations in the higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors with diverse services and expertise to assist them with compliance management. At Triumvirate Environmental, we strive to WOW both our employees and our customers. Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity.

This position reports to Vice President of Sales. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Metrics Reporting: Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards on sales team performance, including pipeline health, quota attainment, activity levels, win rates, and revenue trends.
  • QBR Deck Coordination: Build and maintain pre-populated Quarterly Business Review slide decks for each sales representative, pulling in accurate account and performance data, then organize and distribute the decks so reps can add their own commentary and present their QBRs.
  • Annual Performance Trends: Compile and analyze yearly trend reports on individual sales rep performance, highlighting year-over-year growth, quota attainment history, and areas of strength or opportunity to support coaching and territory planning.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data across CRM and reporting systems to identify patterns in team and individual performance and translate findings into clear summaries for sales leadership.
  • Reporting Cadence: Maintain a regular reporting calendar (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) to ensure sales leadership and reps have timely, accurate visibility into performance metrics.
  • CRM & Systems Support: Use Oracle CX and other sales systems to pull, validate, and reconcile performance data, ensuring reports reflect accurate and up-to-date figures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, improve dashboard usability, and reduce manual work in recurring reporting cycles.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with sales reps, sales leadership, and the Sales Operations team to distribute reporting materials, gather feedback, and support data-driven decision making.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheet tools and CRM/reporting software; PowerPoint skills for building presentation decks.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Comfortable managing recurring deadlines across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of sales operations, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
