Job description

Product Manager, Compliance Systems & Analytics - Denver (Hybrid)

Western Union is seeking a strategic, data-driven, and execution-focused Product Manager to join our Compliance Systems & Analytics (CS&A) team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and delivering capabilities to the critical screening platform that supports global risk, sanctions, and other compliance functions.This is a highly cross-functional role requiring collaboration across Operations, Policy, Data, and Technology. You will be instrumental in maturing our product capabilities, driving platform modernization, and delivering innovative tools that will support the ever-changing global compliance landscape.

In this role you will guide the evolution of the next generation of compliance products from conception to implementation and beyond. This involves working cross-functionally to understand our various global compliance needs, user personas, and competition to formulate requirements, and deliver impactful solutions to our users.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants must be based in Denver or willing to relocate to Denver to work from the Denver office a minimum of three days a week. Western Union will not assist with relocation costs for this position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive the innovation and development of our list processing and screening capabilities.
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to understand regulatory use cases, pain points, and future-state needs to pursue "out of the box" thinking and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various groups and stakeholders around the globe, to become a subject matter expert for critical compliance workstreams.
  • Translate user and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and operational processes, own end-to-end delivery for new features and capabilities.
  • Bridge communication between Compliance Leadership and technology to deliver key functionality critical to meet regulatory and risk obligations.
  • Communicate product plans and performance to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Evaluate and recommend new vendors and tools to complement current capabilities.
  • Mature and grow our Product organization through continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, creativity, and communication.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in business or engineering.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B or enterprise SaaS, compliance technology, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc.) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
  • Experience working with complex systems across multiple stakeholder groups and domains.
  • Proficiency in leading product initiatives through organizational change, including stakeholder alignment, training, and communication planning.
  • Experience conducting user research, gathering customer feedback, and translating insights into product enhancements that deliver measurable value.
  • Ability to effectively communicate business requirements to business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, especially in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

Salary

The base salary range is $120,000 - 150,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus annual incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
