Elevate Global Resilience as our Director of Enterprise Risk Management!

Are you a forward-thinking leader ready to design, build, and spearhead a modern, integrated risk function from the ground up? Trimble is looking for a strategic Director of Enterprise Risk Management to establish and operationalize our global risk framework across top risk governance, emerging threats, business continuity, and global safety. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board, you will leverage data, automation, and AI to transform risk awareness into a strategic advantage for a world-class technology pioneer.

This role offers a unique, high-visibility opportunity to build Trimble's modern enterprise risk framework from scratch, combining data-driven automation with strategic oversight of global safety, crisis management, and insurance strategy.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and mature a scalable Enterprise Risk Management framework to identify and prioritize top global enterprise risks.

  • Monitor and analyze complex emerging risks including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity adjacencies, regulatory shifts, and geopolitical factors.

  • Own and modernize the global Business Continuity Planning program and create responsive enterprise-wide crisis management playbooks.

  • Provide strategic executive oversight for global safety, security standards, and the company's macro insurance and risk transfer strategy.

  • Build a technology-enabled risk function by leveraging data analytics, automation, and AI to enhance risk visibility and executive decision-making.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 8 to 12+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Risk Management, corporate strategy, or a related global risk leadership field.

  • Proven track record of successfully building, designing, or significantly maturing an ERM program within a complex global organization.

  • Deep expertise establishing enterprise-wide business continuity planning, crisis management frameworks, and operational risk structures.

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.

  • Strong analytical background with experience utilizing data, automation tools, or AI platforms to optimize risk or operational functions.

Bonus Points For:

  • Advanced degrees or professional risk management certifications (such as CRM, FRM, or PRM).

  • Direct experience leading risk maturity initiatives during rapid corporate digital transformations or shifts to AI-driven business models.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
