Established over 56 years ago, Morson Group employs more than 2,000 specialists across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and the Netherlands, delivering recruitment and workforce solutions on a global scale.

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and building a successful recruitment desk with the ambition to progress into a leadership role.

As the team continues to grow, you'll initially manage a small team of recruitment consultants, providing day-to-day coaching, support and performance management. This role offers the opportunity to further build and develop the team while playing a key part in the continued growth of the Houston office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts, re-engaging dormant relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients through regular meetings and face-to-face engagement.
  • Deliver high-quality permanent recruitment solutions across technical and engineering markets.
  • Drive business growth through proactive account management and business development.
  • Become a trusted recruitment partner to your clients, understanding their hiring strategies and future workforce needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider recruitment team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Play a key role in the future growth of the Houston office, with the opportunity to build and lead your own team.
  • Act as the second-in-command within the office, supporting leadership and helping shape the direction of the business.

About You:

  • An experienced recruitment professional with a background in permanent / direct hire recruitment.
  • Experience filling technical positions within Engineering / Energy / Infrastructure.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and dynamic approach.
  • Passionate about building strong client relationships both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Confident developing existing accounts while identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Ambitious, with aspirations to build and manage a successful recruitment team.
  • A strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring recruitment consultants, with the ability to coach, develop and inspire high-performing teams.

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to join an established and growing business backed by the global strength of Morson Group.
  • Clear career progression into leadership.
  • Autonomy to grow your own client portfolio and team.
  • Collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Access to a global network of technical recruitment expertise.
  • Competitive salary and commission structure.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.

If you're looking for an opportunity to make a real impact, grow your career, and help shape the future of our Houston office, we'd love to hear from you.
