What are jobs in global logistics?

Global logistics is the common term for the practice of processing goods from initial production through their distribution to customers, including sourcing the raw materials required for the production process. In this role, you may manage international shipments along a supply chain, ensure each facility has everything it needs to continue its operations, and otherwise provide management and oversight of logistical needs.
