Job Description
At KCI, our people are our greatest asset and we put a strong focus on providing the attention and development necessary to drive employee success. As the Senior Manager of Learning & Development, you will take the lead on creating, implementing, and continuously improving learning & development programs to bring impact throughout the full employee life cycle.
Responsibilities and essential job functions for this role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Create, drive, and maintain execution of dynamic training programs, including designing content, facilitating delivery, and empowering sales trainers to follow up on program excellence
  • Train and develop team of field sales/virtual trainers; building their skill base and directing their focus to maximize impact in retail field needs
  • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive focus around multi-unit level leader development
  • Develop ongoing learning needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities to support company growth and strategy
  • Facilitate cooperation of diverse groups and departments to build organizational effectiveness

Qualifications
  • Passionate leader ready to drive a culture of unparalleled customer service
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant Learning and Development, Training, or Organizational Development role
  • Minimum 2 years experience in wireless retail industry; specifically with T-Mobile preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget
  • Ability to understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment
  • Extensive experience in leading large scale, company-wide development and deployment of training and development programs
  • Passionate about people development and have genuine interest in transforming employee learning
  • Travel required
