Job description

GST, LLC. is seeking an Education Program Evaluation Specialist will support the F. Hollings Undergraduate Ernest Scholarship Program and the Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions program.

**This position is contingent upon contract being awarded**

Primary Duties:

• Performs a variety of duties associated with the monitoring and evaluation of NOAA's education programs. 
• Provides expert advice and guidance on evaluation to educators, program managers, and leadership.
• Ensures that NOAA education evaluation efforts are continually informed by best practices and latest advancements in the field of evaluation. 
• Ensures that NOAA education evaluation efforts are compliant with federal requirements for evaluation and performance management.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• Master's degree in Education Evaluation or a related degree

• 2-4 years of experience in conducting evaluations of education programs; planning and implementing evaluation systems for large organizations or agencies; and with the development of logic models for education programming. 
• Experience with portfolio analysis of diverse education program offerings including grants, educator professional development and training, and educational outreach programs; with implementing best practices in evaluation of formal and informal science education; and with design and implementation of various evaluation methodologies and survey techniques in formal and informal science education settings. 
• Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods and analysis techniques.

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
