Overview
HireRight is looking to hire a Global Compensation Manager responsible for designing and maintaining the compensation strategy and structure to attract and retain employees while meeting compliance and budgetary requirements. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs in cooperation with the global HR team. In addition, acting in a consultative capacity, you will provide guidance and advice, primarily to HRBPs, recruiters, and hiring managers, as needed. Reports to the Director, Total Rewards. This role will have global direct and indirect reports.
This is a hybrid position (3 days per week) located in Nashville, TN at our Corporate HQ location.
Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and execute global compensation programs across the Americas, EMEA and APAC
  • Serve as an internal consultant to business leaders and executive leadership team on matters related to global compensation including job review, annual salary/bonus administration, sales incentives, and equity programs.
  • Review and manage comprehensive internal/external market analysis to ensure competitive compensation programs. Develop change recommendation as result of analysis.
  • Maintain, update, and analyze compensation data and trends to ensure consistency of program administration. Identify issues and provide recommendations based on research, analysis and internal/ external benchmarking.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement; recommend solutions leveraging best practices.
  • Develop and document processes and procedures as appropriate. Collaborate with team members and management to prioritize opportunities to improve the workflows for the Compensation function and team.
  • Develop and facilitate compensation training programs to increase understanding of HireRight philosophy, programs, and administration. Scope is inclusive of annual compensation administration, sales incentive compensation and/or reward and recognition programs.
  • Administer audit process to maintain data integrity of assigned compensation programs/ processes; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Support audit and/or control requirements as needed.
  • Develop and implement each region's reward approach, ensuring that plans and policies are aligned with business strategy; support the attraction and retention of the best talent, and deliver value for money
  • Partner with global stakeholders in continuously reviewing and developing relevant global reward policies and guidelines representing the regions' needs in the planning and development; recommend changes or localization where necessary and drive the implementation of appropriate solutions
  • Partner with regional HR Managers to lead regional design and implementation of a new job levelling framework, establishing career levels, job families, salary ranges and the relevant tools and guidelines for HR and business leadership and line managers to effectively deploy the job structure

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing broad-based compensation programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or similar discipline OR equivalent experience
  • CCP Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant (APAC, EMEA) market practices and international law governing salary is essential
  • Knowledge of UltiPro HCM and the HRSoft compensation tools a plus
  • Ability to present data in a logical and concise manner to multiple levels (executive, director, frontline management) within the organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be well-organized and be able to resolve problems diplomatically and effectively
  • Highly proficient in Excel; Expert Level
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate and work effectively across geographic and business boundaries within team and with senior business stakeholders
