Location: This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

About the Team:
As a Global Client Executive, you will achieve sales, account growth, and client success growth with one of our most strategic accounts. Including, identifying and qualifying platform growth opportunities, and using resources to bring opportunities to a successful conclusion. This role will report to a Managing Director for Enterprise Sales, West. This role will cover the West Coast territory for our Enterprise selling team.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accounts
  • Accomplishment of all revenue and booking targets within your your assigned territory
  • Represent Medidata in a manner consistent with company values and goals
  • Coordinate resources within sales and other departments
  • Maintain and update account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce.com
  • Quarterly and/or annual sales targets are covered under a separate document

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Requires a minimum of 15 years of successful relevant experience, including Medical Device experience
  • Knowledge of life sciences industry, including R&D, Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT functions
  • Demonstrated experience being a trusted advisor within large accounts
  • Leverage a consultative approach to guide positive outcomes for clients
  • Demonstrated track record in exceeding sales and related account targets
  • Understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awareness
  • Strong business planning
  • Strong application software experience
  • Expertise with process approached selling

The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $116,500-$155,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. Medidata believes that benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most and provides benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, family leave, flexible paid time off; and 10 paid holidays per year.

Salary Pay Transparency
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $116500 and $155000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
