Diversified Machine Components LLC is looking for a CNC Programmer for 1st shift with 5+ years' experience working with the following:

DMC is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer (Mills and Lathes) for our 1st shift to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions.

The CNC Programmer is responsible for working from blueprints to create, maintain, and troubleshoot machining programs for the CNC machining centers. This role must be familiar with standard machining concepts, practices, and procedures and expertise in machining knowledge, shop trigonometry skills, and reading blueprints.
Requirements:

  • Tight tolerance and short runs. Some production runs.
  • Must be able to program, set up and operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers
  • 4 and 5 axis programming of machining centers
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and GibbsCAM
  • Create CNC Programs for CNC Machines using various CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks and GibbsCAM.
  • Five years' experience in writing CNC Programs
  • CMM and inspection experience
  • Proven experience as CNC operator. Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Good communication abilities

Qualifications:

7+ years of proven shop machining experience with 5 years of programming experience.

  • Industrial Technical Degree preferred
