Job Title: Senior CNC Programmer

Onsite Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to lead and support our Milling Department. This role is responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality parts that meet engineering specifications while maintaining efficient and streamlined operations.

  • The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in CNC programming, hands-on machining experience, and leadership capabilities to oversee departmental performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the daily operations of the Milling Department

  • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and mill/turn machines

  • Ensure all components are manufactured to precise engineering specifications and quality standards

  • Improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste

  • Support setup and operation of CNC equipment as needed

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with 5-axis vertical mill programming, setup, and operation

  • Strong proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

  • Advanced experience with Mastercam or GibbsCAM

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs and machining processes

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Additional Details:

  • Full-time onsite position

  • Salaried role with an expected workload of approximately 40-50 hours per week based on business needs
