Client Centered Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. This role will be conducted remotely, allowing you the flexibility to support clients in a comfortable and accessible environment. You will collaborate closely with a team of licensed professionals, support staff, and community partners. While most work will be done from home, occasional visits to the clinic may be required for team meetings and specialized client assessments. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that identify client needs and promote mental wellness.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as indicated by the clinical team to ensure accuracy in diagnosis and treatment.
• Create comprehensive pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, fostering a proactive approach to mental health care.
• Engage actively in all licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that the clinic meets all regulatory standards.
• Document all client interactions and progress within the electronic health record system promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective behavioral support plans that resonate with seniors' unique life experiences.
• Serve as a liaison for clients by connecting them with appropriate resources, state agencies, and community partners as needed.
• Encourage open communication and maintain relationships with local organizations to enhance service delivery and program outreach.
• Dedicate time for personal and professional development, staying current with the latest practices in geriatric mental health.
• Represent the clinic at community events and professional meetings, promoting the importance of mental health within the aging population.

The primary focus of this role will be on senior individuals facing life transitions, grief, and age-related challenges. Clients may include those coping with significant loss, adjustment to retirement, or managing chronic illnesses. Your expertise in geriatric mental health will help guide these individuals toward improved emotional and psychological well-being. Additionally, you will be instrumental in providing resources and education to families, enhancing the quality of care for our aging population.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in geriatric counseling and mental health support.
• Comprehensive training in aging-related issues and geriatric mental health interventions.

While the minimum requirement is four years of experience, candidates with additional specialized training or certifications in areas such as grief counseling, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care will be preferred. Your experience in collaborative settings, such as community health clinics or interdisciplinary teams, will set you apart.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 95,000 annually, with opportunities for salary adjustments based on performance, skills, and contributions to the organization.
