This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your home while reaching clients in a community health clinic setting. Typical work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a predictable schedule that supports work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly individuals, identifying their unique needs and establishing individualized care plans.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions that target emotional challenges, grief, and adjustments related to aging.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and social workers, to develop and execute integrated care plans aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Provide education and resources to families and caregivers about managing emotional health, coping strategies, and resources available for elderly populations.
• Deliver specialized grief counseling to residents and families navigating end-of-life issues with compassion and sensitivity.
• Implement cognitive stimulation programs to help maintain mental acuity and overall well-being among senior clients.

This role centers on delivering mental health support to seniors, primarily at our community health clinic. The counselor will engage with elderly individuals facing a range of issues, including loneliness, grief from loss, and the stress of life transitions. You will be instrumental in creating a safe environment where clients can express their feelings, explore their emotions, and work towards improved emotional health.

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of four years of demonstrable experience in geriatric counseling, addressing mental health and emotional support needs of seniors.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and interventions relevant to elderly care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with elderly patients.
• Cultural sensitivity and empathy are essential to support a diverse elderly clientele.

• Advanced training or specialization in geriatric mental health and aging-related issues.
• Proven experience in managing mental health challenges through direct counseling services, particularly with seniors dealing with progressive health challenges or significant life changes.
• A solid understanding of the ethical and legal standards related to geriatric mental health practice.

Cure Connect Consulting offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, along with a potential sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
