Job description

Assistant Project Manager

Structure Tone Southwest is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our statewide construction projects, with additional responsibilities as a subject matter expert (SME) for project technology. Our work includes a mix of ground-up construction and interior build-outs. This role offers exposure to a range of responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of our projects. While the key duties are outlined below, additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to senior leadership, including conducting project audits
  • Train new hires on project-related technologies and tools
  • Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and other professional teams
  • Assist with scheduling subcontractor manpower and material deliveries
  • Review and process submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
  • Participate in cost control efforts and budget tracking
  • Manage document control processes and track changes to contract documents
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections of installed materials
  • Assist in punch list development and preparation of project close-out documentation
  • Collaborate with the team on safety management initiatives
  • Maintain organized records and documentation with a strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction (e.g., Construction Clerk, Project Engineer)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CMiC is a plus
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
