Job description

The project assistant is responsible for supporting the project management team with facilitating development of project plans and manage them from inception to completion, including assisting the senior estimator with quotes. This position will assist the project team with monitoring all moving parts of the project keeping them synchronized and moving forward.

Job Duties:

·              Work with our project management software daily updating all projects

·              Evaluate and audit subcontractors (insurance requirements, job performance, safety compliance, etc.)

·              Assist project team with maintaining on-time schedules

·              Assist project team with material and equipment orders, including sourcing and ensuring on-time delivery

·              Attend and assist with kick-off meetings

·              Shadow senior estimator at job sites to learn the process

·              Assist senior estimator with notes and measurements and take photos as required

·              Request material quotes from vendors

·              Assist project team in researching and sourcing new potential vendors

·              Assist senior estimator with quotes

·              Follow-up with clients on pending quotes

·              Coordinate travel

·              Ancillary duties as required
