Job description

Position: Assistant Project Manager โ€“ Construction

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Salary: Up to $110,000 + Benefits


A respected General Contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join its Indianapolis team.


The company delivers a varied portfolio of commercial, healthcare, education, municipal and renovation projects throughout Indiana and is looking for someone keen to continue developing their project management career.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with project planning and delivery
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
  • Track schedules, budgets, procurement and project progress
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and field teams
  • Assist with buyout, meetings and project closeout
  • Review drawings and specifications
  • Support quality and safety requirements


Requirements:

  • 1+ years of construction or project coordination experience
  • General Contractor experience preferred
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred
  • Procore, Bluebeam or similar software experience is advantageous
