The Obstinate Daughter is looking to hire a Pastry Cook!
Do you enjoy working with a positive, creative team?
Do you love all things dessert?
Are you interested in learning how to make gelato?
Do you like a fast-paced environment?
On a daily basis, our pastry team manages:
-Gelato production
-Menu production for our restaurant, The Obstinate Daughter
-Baked goods production for Beardcat's Sweet Shop (our gelato shop located beneath The OD).
Requirements:
Job requirements include a decent level of physical fitness, the ability to pay close attention to detail, and a desire to take pride in one's work.
An innate desire to cook, learn, and work well with others are requirements.
Our Pastry Cooks also need to possess a degree of creativity in order to successfully collaborate for new menus.
Our pastry cooks report directly to the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Pastry Chef & Asst. Pastry Chef.
This position requires a 40 hour work week on average with the possibility for overtime.
