Gelato Maker / Production Team Member

RivaReno Gelato — SoHo, NYC

RivaReno Gelato is an award-winning Italian gelato brand, known for its rich, creamy texture and authentic flavors crafted from the finest ingredients. Recently named NYC’s #1 New Dessert Spot for 2025 by the Beli App, RivaReno is bringing a true taste of Italy to the heart of SoHo.

Now open on Spring Street, we are building a passionate team to help us deliver an exceptional gelato experience—one scoop at a time.

SoHo, NYC — Spring Street, New York, NY 10012

Pay:
$18–$25/ + tips
(Full-Time & Part-Time positions available)

Your Role

As a Gelato Maker, you will be responsible for crafting fresh, high-quality gelato daily using authentic Italian techniques and premium ingredients. This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role essential to maintaining RivaReno’s quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare gelato and sorbet in the lab according to recipes and brand standards

  • Manage ingredient handling, storage, and daily production schedules

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gelato lab and equipment

  • Collaborate with management to ensure sufficient product availability during peak hours

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or BOH roles preferred

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency when following recipes

  • Enthusiasm for artisanal food production and high-quality ingredients

  • Proficiency in Italian or a strong interest in Italian language and culture is a plus
