Company Introduction:
SF Gelateria is a small batch of gelateria made from scratch right in the shop. The menu features Italian classics, American favorites, and Global flavors. Flavors change weekly and there is a strong emphasis on organic and local ingredients. We are hiring people who love food, especially frozen treats, and love bringing happiness to people.
Duties:
  • Measure, mix and create all our gelato from scratch.
  • Make sauces and baked goods.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Follow recipes and create new ones.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain gelato machinery.
  • Maintain the cleanest kitchen.

Qualifications:
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with making ice cream, gelato, and pastry ideal, and food prep experience is a must.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Can stand for long periods.
  • Be able to practice safe handling skills with food equipment.
  • Maintain high sanitation standards.
  • Previous experience baking, preparing food in a commercial kitchen, or culinary school graduate.
  • ServSafe Certificate.
