As a Pool Gate Guard at our outdoor pools, you will be one of the first friendly faces our guests encounter when arriving to enjoy their poolside experience. This role is essential to creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests while supporting resort policies that help our team work comfortably and safely.
Gate Attendants may work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and are expected to maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude at all times.
Responsibilities include:
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with pool entry in a courteous and professional manner
  • Monitor guest access and ensure pool rules and resort policies are followed
  • Control access to the area to include, searching large bags for any outside alcohol that is not permitted beyond the gate entrances. These include, Lakeside Deck pool (main pool) and/or LandShark Bar and Grill's pool.
  • Promote a safe and enjoyable environment for guests of all ages
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests regarding pool guidelines
  • Respond promptly to guest questions or concerns and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Work closely with pool attendants and other resort team members to support daily operations
  • Maintain awareness of weather conditions and follow safety protocols as needed

Work Environment:
  • Outdoor position with exposure to sun, heat, wind, and occasional inclement weather
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal hours
