Gate Attendant

Poly-West, Inc. located in Henderson, NV, is currently seeking Gate Attendant to join our team. Poly-West produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags and construction films. Poly-West is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.

Gate Attendants work a set schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off with 12 hour shifts. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communications skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • At least six months experience in a security role preferred.
  • The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.
  • The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Poly-West procedures. Poly-West offers competitive compensation packages including Medical/Dental, paid vacations and holidays, and 401(K).
Responsibilities

Gate Attendants responsibilities at Poly-West include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor employee access to the facility.
  • Scale shipments and deliveries and release through software based system.
  • Register all visitors properly and ensure they are sent to proper departments.
  • Communicate with various department to announce visitors, issues, or emergencies.
  • The role will involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
