Park City Seasonal Support
Overview:
The Park City Seasonal Support Associate supports the daily operations of the seasonal Friendship Gallery Display at Park City Mall by helping create meaningful experiences that connect art, community, and purpose. This role assists with customer engagement, retail sales, inventory management, merchandising, and special events while fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for visitors, artists, volunteers, and individuals supported by Friendship Community.
Responsibilities:
  • Support daily Gallery amp; Market operations, including opening and closing routines as scheduled.
  • Ensure the Gallery amp; Market space is clean, organized, and visitor-ready.
  • Welcome visitors, provide excellent customer service, and assist with basic inquiries.
  • Promote the mission of Friendship Community and provide information about current exhibitions and artists.
  • Ability to accurately support retail transactions that includes positive customer facing experiences and maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Support accurate physical and digital inventory of artwork and retail products
  • Support storage of art and ensure proper care and organization
  • Support the setup, execution and guest experience for retail events hosted at the Park City Center location of the Heart Gallery amp; Market.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Creative Engagement Advisor or Director of Advancement
Schedule:
This is a seasonal, part-time hourly position. Available shifts are only Fridays and Saturdays October, November and December with hours not to exceed 16 hours weekly.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Experience in art, gallery operations, or customer service preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Comfortable networking and engaging with artists, donors, and community members.

Working Conditions/ Physical Factors:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
  • Able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment; able to remain stationary at a computer for extended periods of time and move around assigned workspace.
  • The primary workspace is an open-office format. The noise level in this environment is typically low to moderate.
  • Occasionally move up to 10 pounds and rarely move up to 20 pounds

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The TM must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate. The TM may occasionally drive a company vehicle to go to a home for their required caseload or outside training opportunities.
