Job Description

This is a part-time role to work no longer than 20/hrs per week (or 40/hrs per pay period)

The Axon Fusus Camera Facilitator will serve as the primary coordinator and technical liaison for allย 
camera-related activities within the Axon Fusus ecosystem. This role ensures that camera systems,ย 
feeds, integrations, and user configurations are properly onboarded, maintained, and aligned withย 
agency operational requirements.
The contractor will perform the following functions:
ย 

Camera Integration & Onboarding
Coordinate with property owners, IT teams, and integrators to onboard new cameras into theย 
Axon Fusus platform.
Validate camera compatibility, connectivity, and optimal placement for operational use.
Assist with installation scheduling, network setup, and configuration support.
Ensure all video feeds meet quality, security, and performance standards.
Provide recommendations for system optimization and camera coverage enhancements.

Training & Stakeholder Support
Provide onboarding sessions and training for stakeholders, businesses, and community partnersย 
with cameras being connected to the Axon Fusus platform.
Develop easy-to-understand tutorials, guides, and support materials.
Serve as the point of contact for camera owners regarding troubleshooting and connectivityย 
assistance.

Monitoring & Quality Assurance
Conduct routine audits of camera health, uptime, and feed performance.
Identify degraded video feeds and coordinate corrective action with stakeholders.
Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and recommended improvements.
The Axon Fusus Camera Facilitator will communicate frequently with program managers, technicalย 
leadership, and external partners

Qualifications

Qualifications
Experience with Axon Fusus, either as an end-user or an Administrator.
Ability to configure camera metadata, geolocation mapping, userย 
permissions, and labeling standards within the Fusus system.
Ability to perform camera health checks, status monitoring, and diagnosticย 
reviews using the Fusus dashboard tools.
Strong understanding of IP camera systems, including configuration,ย 
network connectivity, and video quality optimization.
Experience troubleshooting camera hardware, cabling, and network issues inย 
the field or remotely.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to camera connectivity, power,ย 
network routing, firewall rules, and bandwidth limitations.
Experience working with integrators, vendors, IT departments, or propertyย 
owners to coordinate technical tasks.
Capable of conducting site assessments for camera placement, networkย 
readiness, and signal quality.
Understanding of video security principles, data privacy requirements, andย 
secure network configuration practices.
Ability to apply organizational video retention, access control, and systemย 
security policies
