A Funeral Service Director plays a vital role in coordinating comprehensive funeral arrangements and providing compassionate support to grieving families. This position involves close collaboration with funeral directors, location managers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless execution of services and adherence to regulatory requirements. The role demands strong communication and organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining dignity and respect throughout all ceremonies. We primarily serve the local community across multiple locations, and you will work closely with your team to fully support our families.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate funeral arrangements with directors and location managers
  • Provide bereavement support to families and guests
  • Manage necessary documentation and compliance processes
  • Oversee funeral ceremonies and related events
  • Coordinate transportation logistics for services
  • Set up funeral services and assist with event execution
