Our organization has an immediate opening for a Fundraising Coordinator for the Academy of Osseointegration / Osseointegration Foundation. This position plays a key role in implementation and management of strategies and tactics designed to generate revenue in support of the Foundationsโ current and future programs.ย
This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the Arlington Heights office and allows up to two days working remotely.
The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) is a professional association of 3,600 dentists and other dental professionals. Established in 1987, the organization is dedicated to improving the quality of care through the placement of dental implants.ย AOโs philanthropic arm โ the Osseointegration Foundation โ supports research, professional education and charitable assistance for qualifying individuals in need.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Fundraising Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and compliance oversight of the Foundationโs fundraising strategies.ย
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Some of the job responsibilities include: Develop and implement printed and digital fundraising strategies โข Coordinate and manage fundraising events (online and at AO Annual Meeting) โข Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and potential donors โข Identify and research new fundraising opportunities โข Prepare grant proposals and fundraising reports โข Manage fundraising databases and track donor information โข Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising initiatives โข Ensure compliance with all fundraising regulations and best practices โข Develop and maintain a calendar of fundraising activities โข Monitor and evaluate the success of fundraising campaigns โข Provide support and training to volunteers involved in fundraising activities โข Work with finance team to ensure accurate recording of all donations โข Develop and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors
QUALIFICATIONS

Proven track record of successful fundraising program implementation โข Strong knowledge of fundraising best practices โข Excellent networking and relationship-building skills โข Ability to work independently as well as part of a team โข Exceptional written and verbal communication skills โข Creative problem-solving abilities โข Experience working in a nonprofit environment โข Strong organizational and time management skills โข Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite โข Strong attention to detail โข Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously โข Excellent interpersonal skills โข Ability to travel to domestic meetings 1-2 times per year โข Knowledge of donor relations and stewardship โข Strong analytical and research skills โข Commitment to the mission and values of the organization

CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential[RS1]ย s are a plus โข Experience with donor management software โข Minimum of 2-3 years of fundraising experience
