Job description

Our organization has an immediate opening for a Fundraising Coordinator for the Academy of Osseointegration / Osseointegration Foundation. This position plays a key role in implementation and management of strategies and tactics designed to generate revenue in support of the Foundationsโ€™ current and future programs.ย 

This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the Arlington Heights office and allows up to two days working remotely.

The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) is a professional association of 3,600 dentists and other dental professionals. Established in 1987, the organization is dedicated to improving the quality of care through the placement of dental implants.ย  AOโ€™s philanthropic arm โ€“ the Osseointegration Foundation โ€“ supports research, professional education and charitable assistance for qualifying individuals in need.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Fundraising Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and compliance oversight of the Foundationโ€™s fundraising strategies.ย 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Some of the job responsibilities include: Develop and implement printed and digital fundraising strategies โ€ข Coordinate and manage fundraising events (online and at AO Annual Meeting) โ€ข Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and potential donors โ€ข Identify and research new fundraising opportunities โ€ข Prepare grant proposals and fundraising reports โ€ข Manage fundraising databases and track donor information โ€ข Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising initiatives โ€ข Ensure compliance with all fundraising regulations and best practices โ€ข Develop and maintain a calendar of fundraising activities โ€ข Monitor and evaluate the success of fundraising campaigns โ€ข Provide support and training to volunteers involved in fundraising activities โ€ข Work with finance team to ensure accurate recording of all donations โ€ข Develop and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors
