Position Details:

  • Role: Business/Functional Project Manager (Technical Project Manager profiles will not be considered)
  • Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005 (Onsite)
  • Duration: 22+ Months
  • Pay Rate: $65/hour on W2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage business-focused projects from initiation through deployment.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts including Project Charter, Project Plan, RACI, Risk & Issue Logs, and Status Reports.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, governance, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate status meetings and drive project cadence with sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Gather business requirements and analyze current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") processes.
  • Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and organizational expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Business/Functional projects (not technical infrastructure or software development projects).
  • Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and other PM tools.
  • Experience with virtual collaboration platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, or Skype.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
