Job Description:

IS Functional Analyst positions offered by ABB Inc. (Atlanta, Georgia). Lead in IT, Service Delivery, Strategy alignment to drive tactical solutions and stakeholder management. Act as a subject matter expert in relevant area of responsibility of Vistex/OTC, contributing technical and business process/data expertise to either support ongoing operations or project new software. Analyze the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement. Translate business requirements into technical IS capabilities and solutions. Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams. Build, design, examine, and implement well-organized and structured IT applications to meet business needs. Collaborate with IS Service Managers and Business Process Specialists to estimate the effort for IS solution/services development, change requests, and releases. Understand the related business processes in detail and apply this knowledge to shape and align IS solution/services building and delivery activities. Report progress to IS Service Owner and manages Business expectation. Lead configuration sessions with process SMEs, demoing new or changed configured process scenarios in SAP, aligned to Global processes. Handle ambiguity and turn the business requirements toward effective solution architecture.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in information management, computer systems, engineering, or a related field and 7 years of experience implementing ERPs.
  • Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following:
    • Performing structured and object-oriented programming, including BADIs and User Exits;
    • Working through three full lifecycle implementations of SAP SD and SAP Vistex;
    • Configuring SAP SD and SAP Vistex;
    • Configuring order management, pricing, availability checking, partner determination, output determination, copy control, and contracts.
    • Integrating to PI and using BAPIs and IDOCs; and
    • Working with Order to Cash (OTC), SD/MM pricing configuration and routines, and FICO integration.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 7 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated.
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
  • Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
