Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Payroll & BenefitsSpecialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing payroll,maintaining accurate personnel records, and supporting benefits administrationwhile ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Theideal candidate will serve as a trusted resource for employees and contributeto a positive and efficient workplace experience.
Essential Functions:

Process semi-monthly payroll, including overtimecalculations, hours worked, and pay adjustments.
Maintain accurate payroll and benefits data within the HRIS system.
Conduct PTO audits for accuracy and compliance.
Review, calculate, and validate financial and employee data related topayroll and benefits.
Assist employees with benefit enrollment, open enrollment, and life eventchanges.
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll andbenefits.
Maintain organized systems for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Analyze compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness andcompliance.
Provide accurate data and reporting to leadership to support businessdecisions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend policyupdates.
Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and applicableregulations.
Support onboarding activities, including hiring coordination and trainingschedules.
Stay up to date on HR best practices and employment laws.
Collaborate with HR team members and cross-train to support departmentsuccess.
Initiate and track bi-annual performance reviews.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment androutinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones,printers, and scanners.
Physical Demands:
The role requires regular communication, including talking and listening. Itinvolves extended periods of sitting, as well as occasional standing or walkingthroughout the office or customer locations. Vision requirements include closevision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Hours:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Travel:
Minimal overnight travel is expected. Occasional travel to customer sites orother company locations may be required.
Required Qualifications:
Associate'sDegree, two to three related experience or training
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information withdiscretion
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Three to five years of relevant experience
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to supportemployee inquiries
