POSITION OVERVIEW – The Communications Manager serves as the primary internal communications partner for the People Team, owning employee messaging across HR programs, culture, engagement, and general affairs. This role writes, designs, and distributes content across email, intranet, newsletters, and signage, while managing the editorial calendar and collaborating with HR, legal, finance, and the corporate newsroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary communications partner for People Team initiatives, including HR programs, security awareness campaigns, and general affairs updates across the Company’s America's U.S. offices.
Develop creative, on-brand strategies to reach and engage Company employees through a variety of channels, consistent with the Company’s brand identity and voice.
Draft, design, and publish digital communications — including posters, banners, and signage — across the Company’s intranet, office poster network, and digital signage systems throughout U.S. locations.
Support communications for employee engagement and corporate citizenship efforts aligned with the company’s priorities, including sustainability, corporate giving, volunteerism, and culture programs.
Research, write, and distribute a variety of internal communications such as all-employee emails, newsletters, executive messages, and program collateral that reflect the Company’s culture and values.
Manage and maintain the internal communications editorial calendar to ensure timely, coordinated delivery of messaging across the organization.
Leverage weekly People Team reporting to build and maintain accurate, targeted distribution lists for segmented employee communications.
Champion consistency, quality, and creativity across all internal communications, upholding the Company’s high standards for brand compliance and messaging excellence.
Collaborate with the Company’s U.S. Newsroom team to post stories, draft social content, and coordinate multi-channel campaigns that bridge internal and external storytelling.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related field
5–7 years of professional experience, preferably in Internal Communications or HR Communications, ideally within a large, matrixed corporate or technology-driven organization
Demonstrated ability to represent a globally recognized brand with the highest level of professionalism and discretion
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities — able to move quickly without sacrificing quality
Exceptional time management, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive or confidential HR and employee information with discretion
Commitment to flawless execution and a sharp eye for quality control, consistency, and accuracy in all written and visual communications
Collaborative team player with a passion for continuous improvement and innovative approaches to communications challenges
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) required
Design experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva preferred
Experience working with intranet content management systems or digital signage platforms preferred
