Steward/Dishwasher - Full time
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking full-time Steward/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe culinary environment. Full-time team members typically work around 40 hours per week and must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the mission and core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club
  • Operate and maintain an industrial dishwasher
  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment as needed
  • Sweep and mop floors in kitchen and employee dining areas
  • Remove and dispose of kitchen and food service waste
  • Support general back-of-house cleaning and organization
  • Occasionally assist with restroom cleaning
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Ability to stand and bend for extended periods
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and maneuver large pots, pans, and containers
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Must have reliable transportation - no public transit available
  • Hours for this position are generally 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm but may vary based on the needs of the Club
